Curriculum Vitae

Luca was born in 1991 in Milano, Italy. He received his education in chemistry at the University of Pavia and, after two visiting periods in Strasbourg, FR (Luisa De Cola group) and in Madison, US (Tehshik P. Yoon group), he returned to Pavia where he successfully defended his PhD thesis. His research has been awarded as the "Best PhD Thesis in Organic Chemistry for its Methodological Aspects" by the Organic Chemistry division of the Italian Society of Chemistry (SCI). He is currently a post-doctoral fellow under the guidance of prof. Davide Ravelli for the development of innovative synthetic methodologies based on photocatalysis.
